How do I measure my pet to get the best fit?

You will need to measure your pet in three places.  Measure around your pet's neck where the collar sits, around the girth right behind your pet's front legs and down the back from the collar to the base of your pet's tail (See diagram for details).

Once you have measured your pet, refer to this size chart to find the right fit.  If your pet's measurements don't fit any of these sizes, we can make a custom harness just for your pet at no additional charge.  Please send us an email at wagpetgear@gmail.com to inquire about custom sizes.  For sizes larger than the posted "L" size there will be an additional charge.

Are the velcro closures on the harnesses secure?

We have tested our harnesses on dogs up to 100 lbs and have found the velcro closure at the neck and belly to hold even on dogs that pull. It is important to properly overlap the velcro when putting the harness on your dog.  The velcro should overlap by a minimum of two inches to ensure a secure dog.  You can even pick your dog up by the harness!

When will the products be shipped?

Products without a monogram will be shipped within 3 to 5 business days. Products with monograms will be shipped within 5 to 7 business days.  Custom sized harnesses will be shipped within 5 to 7 business days.  

Do you accept custom orders?

We can accept custom orders if the fabric is on stock. Please contact us for additional information at wagpetgear@gmail.com.

What about refunds and Exchanges?

If you are not satisfied with your purchase please let us know by sending an email to wagpetgear@gmail.com. We are happy to work with you to reconcile your concern. You can return the product within 8 business days of receiving your purchase (product must be in new condition).

Please ship returns in a securely wrapped package. Shipping and handling on returned merchandise is non-refundable; the only exceptions are when the product was defective or Wag Pet Gear has made an error.

Unfortunately, we cannot warrant our products against improper pet and human companion use.

For a refund to be issued to your credit card, please allow at least 5 business days from the day we receive your return. 

How do I wash Wag products?

All harnesses, collars and leads can be hand-washed or machine-washed on gentle cycle with cold water. The Velcro can stick to other items so it’s helpful to put the harness in a washable mesh laundry bag sAir dry only. Bow tie, flower or tie attachments should only be washed gently by hand or spot cleaned when needed..
